Camp Director Jeff Altemus and daughter Willa introduce Mike Book and Shannon Dey of the West Virginia Raptor Rehabilitation Center.
Here Shannon shows a Broad-tail Hawk.
Mike Book points out some of the field markings.
Here, Mike points out the red tail from which Annie the Red-Tail Hawk takes here name.
She's a beauty!
Introducing "Thunder" an eight year old female bald eagle.
Thunder was very active and Mike had his hand full keeping her on here perch of his wrist.
Pointing out some field marks.
Thunder was constantly taking off and Mike would deftly guide her in a large arc and then back to his waiting arm.
A beautiful, but relentlessly persecuted symbol of out country.
Mike had a wealth of knowledge about eagles and eagle lore.
On this warm summer day, Thunder was trying to keep cool just like us.
Camper Stephanie listens intently.
One last visit, then farewell./p>
