Scholarships and Donations
Annually, foundations and generous individuals provide funding for a limited number of scholarships to attend Junior Nature Camp. Donations to the Junior Nature Camp Scholarship Fund are accepted year round. Please contact Lynnette Sickles at 304-242-4200 or email us for more information and an application.
The tradition of the Oglebay Institute camping program is based around generous volunteers and supporters offering their time and resources to improve the lives and knowledge of young people. Individuals wishing to provide funding for program support are encouraged to contact Eriks Janelsins at the Schrader Center (304-242-6855). Donations are used to purchase equipment such as spotting scopes, nets, and radios or supplies to enhance the JNC experience. Please consider an annual donation to Junior Nature Camp to directly impact the quality of the camp and ensure its growth into the future.
